Jess Kent is one of our favourite, if not our favourite new Aussie artist this year. From Get Down, to 1993 (No Chill) to Sweet Spot, she’s banging out the hits like a superstar and we appreciate that consistency.

She was part of our Future Class Of 2016, and her latest hit Sweet Spot solidifies that she’s a big deal this year (we told ya).

As it turns out, she’s not just an A+ hitmaker, she’s also an A+ tune selecta. We got her to put together a playlist of what she’s gettin’ down to right now and she has delivered.

Get amongst it below and if you want to see her live in the flesh, she’s playing at This That in Newcastle next month alongside Schoolboy Q, Elliphant and Sampa The Great. Get ya deets here.

I’m a fan of Astronomar, came across this on Soundcloud.. cool to see them remixing a fellow Adelaidian!
10. Smileyface- Mary Jane (Jamie xx remix)
I love the future garage/ house/ Jamie xx vibe mixed with some hiphop.
11. Banoffee – With Her (Roland Tings Remix)
Banoffee is one Aussie to watch, and after a friend put me onto Roland Tings I caught them at Secret Garden and have been hooked ever since!
