Allan Smithy’s Screenshots Of Prolific Palm Trees In Videos

Aussie muso Allan Smithy dropped his debut EP I See A Palm Tree a few weeks ago, an introduction to one of Australia’s most literal and honest songwriters.

It’s a collection of four organic, raw songs that don’t brag or show-off, rather just slowly creep under your skin. It feels warm like an Australian summer and at times the songwriting is so vivid you can almost smell suburbia.

When Smithy says he sees a palm tree, he’s not lying and we know because we picked his brain about his favourite palm tree cameos in videos. We set him a task of screenshotting the most prolific palm trees in videos and he returned to us a list of huge bangers which was an added bonus.

Check it out below and also listen to his EP and get to know him in two minutes.
