Adelaide-hailing producer Lonelyspeck has just added another incredible cut to his discography. The latest single is aptly titled Happy New Year and if this tune is anything to go by then 2017 is going to be a huge year for the enigmatic musician.

Keeping within the subtle, yet mood evoking aesthetic of his 2016 single All My Skin, this new track is again characterised by sweeping, understated vocals and slowly building textures featuring bass, synth and some gorgeous melodic samples.

Japanese Wallpaper has called the new track “some of the most important and innovative music around” and we can’t help but agree with that on-point summation.
