Cosmo’s Midnight have just released the official music video for their incredible single ‘Walk With Me’ featuring Kucka, and it’s nothing short of sensational. They have often performed live wearing similar clothes, but the matching jump suits they’ve donned are spectacular, whilst the husky-themed plot is similarly amazing. The highlight comes in the final minute where Cosmo and Pat break out some astoundingly audacious dance moves.

Daughter’s Brooding New Single ‘Doing The Right Thing’

Daughter-lead-2016Following the release of their haunting yet beautiful debut If You Leave in 2013, London trio Daughter have returned with their new single Doing The Right Thing. The track has been plucked from their forthcoming sophomore album Not To Disappear and showcases the sonic lushness and brooding intensity of which Daughter are swiftly becoming renowned for. Dealing with the subject of dementia and its impact and ramifications on family, the track is both emotional and hard hitting, while maintaining a gentle and gorgeous demeanour throughout. Doing The Right Thing sees Daughter at their best and most effecting.

Enlisting the direction of Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard (Directors of Nick Cave film 20,000 Days on Earth) along with author Stuart Evers, Daughter will be releasing a trilogy of short films to coincide with tracks from their upcoming album. Doing The Right Thing is the first of the three and it perfectly captures the essence of the track, both musically and lyrically.

If the lead single is anything to go by, Not To Disappear is shaping up to be another stellar effort from Daughter.

Not to Disappear is out January 15th via 4AD / Remote Control Records.

Watch The Weeknd Bury Himself Alive In ‘Tell Your Friends’ Video

It seems that now The Weeknd really can’t feel his face now because he’s dead. Only in the video for his new Kanye-produced track Tell Your Friends, calm your farm, but still the video shows an alive Weeknd burying a dead Weeknd which is a very creepy sight indeed. For reasons unknown, wrapped in plastic The Weeknd is buried six feet underground as the alive version croons through the new track – a piano-driven cut with a Kanye Late Registration vibe. If this makes no sense to you don’t worry, just check out the video yourself and if you like it, go tell are your friends that The Weeknd’s album Beauty Behind The Madness is out this Friday. We’ve had a cheeky listen and there are some banging tracks on there.

Tame Impala Let It Happen

Tame Impala Will Exacerbate Your Flying Fears With The Video For ‘Let It Happen’

Nearly everybody (including us) have already signposted Tame Impala‘s Let It Happen as one of the best, if not the best, song of the year. Now they have gone and made it that much better by dropping a disturbing but brilliant video for the Currents opener. It’s all set around an airline disaster which will probably halt you from jumping on a plane anytime soon, but as the main character descends into thin air, there’s actually a soothing calm surround the video. A++ stuff from the Perth boys once again.

Kendrick Lamar Alright

Watch Kendrick Lamar Fly And Balance On A Street Light In ‘Alright’ Video

By now we should all be in agreeance that there’s nobody doing 2015 as well as Kendrick Lamar is. Here’s further proof of that, just in case you were doubting. Lamar has dropped the video for Alright and it’s another black and white affair but it sees the rapper levitate from the ground and also balance from a very high street light in LA. And we need to add here that he also did all his own stunts as he was spotted on top of that street light a few weeks back. As long as Lamar is around, “we gon’ be alright.”

Elizabeth Rose Addresses Marriage Equality In Division Video

Apart from being a banging tune, Elizabeth Rose‘s Division is socially conscious and she’s given the track an appropriate visual to match. The video tracks a gay couple through the ups and downs of their relationship including dinner with an unaccepting father and ensuing arguments. Meanwhile there are a few cuts to Lizzie Rose looking great as per usual, not that that’s the point of the video. It’s good to hear an Aussie musician really drive social change particularly at a time where there’s more and more dialogue in parliament about same sex marriage.
