Francis And The Lights Debut New Album ‘Farwell Starlite’ At Eaux Claires Festival

Who said a weekend for music has to be quiet. After weeks of thrashing social media with random images, Bon Iver have officially announced a follow up to 2011’s self titled masterpiece Bon Iver with a new album titled 22, A Million. The news came over the weekend when new music was debuted at Justin Vernon‘s curated music festival Eaux Claires Festival. Coinciding with this debut are two brand new songs which can be heard here.

Adding to a long list of reasons of why Eaux Claires Festival just may be the next big festival, Francis And The Lights also debuted an entire new album Farewell Starlite!. We don’t have a release date just yet but it’s no doubt not far off. After solidifying his name through hits Friends (which also features Justin Vernon & Kanye West) and featuring on Chance The Rapper’s Colouring Book, we can only hope that it features a few more big names.

Eaux Claires Festival also brought some amazing footage through the assistance of Francis And The Lights’ closing set. With a lineup that included James Blake, Vince Staples, Erykh Badu, Bon Iver, Jon Hopkins plus loads more, let the vision below induce another batch of FOMO.

Closing things out, Francis And The Lights brought out his pal Chance The Rapper for Summer Friends

…and if Summer Friends live wasn’t enough he went one up and showcased those delightfully crazy dance moves from Friends live, with the assistance of Chance The Rapper and Justin Vernon.
